We are committed to ensuring we can meet the increasingly complex needs we are seeing in missionaries and their families. We have identified two key trainings that will deepen and enrich the offering we can provide.
Would you consider investing in the emotional resilience of missionaries and their families by contributing to the cost of these key trainings?
What your giving towards Staff Training will provide:
Deepening Resilience:
Emotion-Focused Therapy Training
We are increasingly supporting individuals and couples experiencing burnout, emotional overwhelm, and strain in their relationships, often shaped by long-term ministry pressures and life away from home.
While our current counselling services provide meaningful care, some clients would benefit from a more specialised therapeutic approach. Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) is an evidence-based model particularly effective for helping people process deep emotional hurt, improve relationships, and navigate the stress and challenges of long-term ministry.
Your giving would immediately expand our ability to provide specialised EFT-informed care to couples and individuals serving across Asia.
Cost: $7,000 USD
Supporting Children Affected by Trauma:
Trauma-Informed Care Training
Children growing up in cross-cultural and ministry contexts can experience significant disruption, loss, and stress—often without the language or tools to process what they are carrying. These experiences, if left unaddressed, can have long-term effects on emotional development, relationships, and faith.
While our current counselling services offer meaningful support to individuals and families, there is a growing need for more specialised care for children who have been affected by trauma.
By investing in this training, you are helping The Well deepen the quality of care we provide to missionary families, ensuring that children are not overlooked in moments of transition, crisis, or recovery.
