Human Resources Assistant

Summary:
The Well International, a Christian counseling center located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Human Resources Assistant in our Chiang Mai offices. This is a volunteer position.

We are looking for candidates with cross-cultural team work experience who enjoy working with people, are flexible and self-starting, agree with the vision and mission of The Well International, and possess the qualifications listed below.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process HR-related email communications

  • Assist with the management and organization of internal communications, particularly those related to HR matters and staff meetings, including recording minutes and creating action item lists

  • Help maintain event and appointment calendars, ensuring all HR-related activities are scheduled

  • Assist with logistics related to staffing, facilities, and resources

  • Compose HR correspondence for the efficient operations of The Well, including communication with staff, clients, partners, and the public via email, social media, or other written forms

  • Maintain the electronic filing system for HR-related documents and records

  • Provide administrative support in HR-related tasks

  • Assist in onboarding new staff, managing documentation, and supporting the overall staff experience

  • Help address staff concerns and assist with team development and relationship-building


Qualifications:

  • Experienced in human resources or office administration

  • Skilled in personal computer applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, email, and other HR-related IT systems

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Experience in resolving organizational and interpersonal challenges

  • Skilled in multi-tasking with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and deadlines

  • Experience working well as part of a cross-cultural team

  • Understanding of HR policies and practices
