Sunghea grew up in Korea where she studied fine art at both the bachelors and masters levels. As a university student she dedicated her life to God to become a missionary artist. After she was married and received a missionary training course in Australia for 2 years she moved to Central Asia in 2005.
Sunghea has a heart for MKs and taught art to elementary and secondary students for eight years at an MK school. During that time she learned about the power of expression and communication in art and became interested in how art can connect with inner healing.
After coming to Thailand in 2016, Sunghea discovered that there was a need for counselling in the Korean missionary community and was thrilled when she had the opportunity to do an MA in Art Therapy. She attained her license in art therapy, clinical psychology practitioner and Youth counseling.
Sunghea is excited to meet and serve people as an Art Therapist at The Well International.
Sunghea provides services in English and Korean.
