Luke began his training to become a clinical counselor at Columbia International University, in Columbia, South Carolina. He spent 3+ years studying there and gaining experience at internships with a private marriage and family counseling practice, homeless shelter, and a drug and alcohol treatment center.
After graduating, Luke and his family moved back to his small hometown in New York. There he worked at a residential treatment center for boys, ages 12-18, who were being treated for their sexually harmful behaviors. While working there, Luke noticed a need in his small town for a local Christian counselor. God opened doors for him to start a Christian counseling practice, where he gained experience in spiritual direction and thoroughly enjoyed watching God transform lives.
Luke is passionate to help men, families, adolescents and marriages to find complete fulfillment in their relationship with God, by deeply understanding their identities as children of God. Luke desires to cultivate an environment of grace and safety with all of his clients. Specific areas that Luke specializes in are marriage, men (sexual freedom, spiritual identity, etc.), spiritual direction, adoption-related issues, and trauma.
