Chad is a former MK from Australia who is hoping his four children will enjoy cross-cultural living as much as he did.  His counselling career began at Moody, in Chicago, where he was trained and also learned a great deal about less-privileged communities and the problems they struggle to overcome.  It continued in a six-year-long apprenticeship as a school Counsellor/Therapist in Melbourne, Australia during which he trained as a Narrative Therapist and attained Clinical Membership with PACFA (later ACA). He has also attained a Masters in Narrative Therapy from Melbourne University and has been a practising therapist since 2006.

Chad is excited to see kids, teens, adults and their communities (biological and otherwise) working together to get the better of whatever problems attempt to rob them of a full life. He loves to work at retelling old stories in new ways as well as discovering forgotten stories - all while being as inventive as possible. Ceremonies and games are also a big part of his approach with families, couples or individuals.
