All of us have a God-given responsibility to influence others toward God’s purpose for them – whether as a leader, evangelist or facilitator of a Bible study group. In this 5-day workshop, we reflect on some deep personal questions such as "What is our motive for serving others?" and "Does our identity depend on what we do or does it rest on God?" We learn about how God develops us over time, so that we serve Him out of a Christ-likeness, from the time we are called, with the gifts He has given, and in our journey with Him.
UPDATE (Jan 9, 2018):
January 26th event is NOW FULL.

Art, creativity, and imagination can all be a renewing, restoring, and challenging part of our spiritual formation. Come for a day of quiet, reflection, and creativity. Skilled or not skilled in art - this is for you! The time will be largely structured. Art materials, coffee break, and a simple lunch will be included.
In this 5-day workshop, we learn what “vision”, “mission” and “values” are and how they can help us sharpen our ministry focus and direct our specific ministries. We learn how to develop strategy for our ministries, and tools for planning and decision-making.
In Meditative Art we still our hearts and engage in the creative process of writing, painting, making collage etc., all to make space for God to reveal His love and guidance in our lives. It is all about connecting with God, and spending time with Him. ...
You are invited to a 2 night/2 day retreat designed to lead you into quiet in order to return to the Lord, rest, let your trust deepen and be strengthened and rescued. (Is. 30:15) A few spiritual disciplines will be introduced/practiced: morning, noon, mid afternoon and evening prayers; the examen; breath prayers; imaginative prayer; etc. Some art supplies will be included, but art will not be the primary focus. The theme: Isaiah 30:15 and Advent - preparing for His coming.
This is always such a time of fun and blessing, bringing together women of all backgrounds and churches and ages, from high school seniors on up. The planning team has planned a varied program for worship, fun, fellowship and learning. You can choose the options that will make it your special time for refreshment, encouragement and new friendships. Don’t let anything keep you away.
Come, listen and interact with God and build community with others through the medium of Contemplative Collage. Collage is art for non-artists. Collage can get under the radar of our strong left-brained selves to our inner selves. Collage is communication through images, metaphors and symbols.
As we still our hearts and engage in the creative process, we make space for God to reveal His love and guidance in our lives. The day starts with a Bible passage, prayer and short body relaxation, followed by instructions for the theme of the day. You do not need art experience. It is all about connecting with God, and spending time with Him.
Women work really hard at the lives they lead – striving to be the best students, wives, moms, professionals, volunteers, all around good people - they feel they should and could be. However, below the surface activity, there is a current issuing from the deep places of every woman out of which her dreams, longings, fears, passions…flow – seldom addressed, rarely touched. We are even more convinced of the depths of God – His moving on our behalf – always at work, always pursuing, loving, longing for us. Out of this growing awareness has been an equally growing passion in our hearts to provide a safe place, time and experience where women can get away and get quiet for long enough to receive God’s touch and to relax into His Current. The result is a women’s weekend retreat called Cur•rent for Women.
