No one will outlive death. Eventually we are all confronted with grief as we mourn the loss of someone who is part of our lives. We can be immobilized and overwhelmed by our own grief. We feel helpless and don’t know how to respond to others who are grieving. Whether you are grieving your own loss of a loved one or know someone else who has lost someone dear to them... here is an opportunity to be equipped to understand grief and share in their grief. Come learn what goes on when a person goes through grief.
GriefShare is a place where people who are grieving can share their grief in a safe and compassionate group. GriefShare uses a combination of videos by experts, support group discussion and personal study and reflection to help people work through their loss.
In this Grief Share training, you will gain an understanding of various aspects of grief, be equipped to alongside those who are grieving and lead a GriefShareclass for others. Each training participant will receive a set of videos (English with Thai subtitles) and workbooks in English and Thai. On the final day of this three day training there will be two hours of training on how to facilitate a GriefShare group.
Please note: The focus of this event will be on training rather than a full-fledged GriefShare group.
