Staying Healthy in Chiang Mai
What can you do to protect your family’s health while living in Chiang Mai? Lori Rowe has 23 years of experience with various aspects of the medical system in Thailand: raising a family, being part of the Birthing Support Team that has helped hundreds of families give birth in Chiang Mai, and as part of the Health Network, which helps people navigate the Thai medical system. Lori is involved with the compilation of the Medical and Dental Care Guide and the resource booklet Giving Birth in Chiang Mai. Lori will share her expertise regarding things you can do personally to protect your health – hygiene, food preparation, eating out, vaccinations and more. She will also talk about accessing medical care in Chiang Mai, and cultural patterns which affect delivery of health care.
